Our regular Accommodation Sector Meetings give you the chance to meet others working in both serviced and self-catering accomodation to chat through the needs, challenges and opportunities relating to your business sector.
This informal, interactive session will be highly relevant to your business needs, customers and objectives, and allow you to discuss those topics that are most relevant to your businesses.
The meeting will be led by Mary Ann Nossent, of Penygarn Cottage and one of Carmarthenshire Tourism Association's volunteer directors. As always, the direction of discussions will be led by you, but as a starting point, we'll be discussing how to use distinctive content to enhance your marketing.
Following on from our last meeting (where we discussed how to attract more direct bookings), we’ll be focusing on how to use distinctive content to turn enquiries into bookings. We'll be revisiting what makes Carmarthenshire distinctive, and such an unique place for our visitors to come, and how including this within our marketing content can help us stand out from our competitors. We’ll share the many free resources that are available to help you do this – including materials that were used as part of the Carmarthenshire Ambassador training program – and include some simple hints and tips of how to incorporate a distinctive sense of place into your business. We'll also be sharing our plans to offer Carmarthenshire Ambassadors a new platform to reach visitors through our new Visit Carmarthenshire blog - full training provided.
We anticipate that some topics covered will include:
And of course there'll also the chance to chat to other businesses about any sector specific questions that you may have. If you ever think, "I wonder how other businesses do that..." then this is a chance to get answers!
Contact us to book your place by no later than 10am on Monday 5th March.
