In May 2018 the current Data Protection Act is being replaced by the GDPR. The new regulation strengthens the rights that individuals have in relation to their data, and increases your obligations when handling peoples’ personal data. All businesses will need to take steps to ensure that they comply with the new regulations. We’re here to help you sort fact from fiction, and understand what changes you may need to make.
This workshop will be led by Bethan Bonsall of the Information Commissioner's Office, and will take you through what the new regulations entail, what this means for your business and how you can prepare for the change. You'll leave with a clear idea of the next steps that you need to take, and know who you can turn to for advice if you need it.
