Do you - whether as part of your job role or wider community activities - need to remember information or stories in order to relay to others? Perhaps you run a bed and breakfast, are a volunteer at a visitor attraction or event, or work in a local cafe or shop, for example...
...Sharing stories is a great way to connect with customers - bringing local tales to life, inspiring visitors and making their experience in Carmarthenshire more memorable. And so, the Carmarthenshire Tourism Association, as part of our year of Legends activities, is giving you the chance to fine tune your storytelling skills at our 'Telling Tales' Storytelling Skills workshop - led by the very popular and inspiring storyteller, Angharad Wynne.

This is part of Carmarthenshire Destination Management Partnership's project activities. The project has been part funded by the Welsh Government’s Regional Tourism Engagement Fund which aims to improve the visitor experience and create stronger destinations by working together. The activities are also part funded by Carmarthenshire County Council.
"It's very difficult to find out how our visitors find us on the internet. However, when I analyse my statistics with my hosting company, I find Visit Carmarthenshire in the top 10 of referrals. In a Google search it comes on the top page if you use key words like "Bed and Breakfast in Carmarthen". It's important to have another platform where our business can be found online and it really does work for us!"
"The one to one sessions on improving my website were really valuable. Paul Knows what's what and how I am thinking or struggling immediately! I value his input."
"We really enjoyed the Gold award winner visits. They've given us some great ideas and some real practical help. Strangely, one of the most useful things from the visits is that it's saved us a lot of time researching things that wouldn't be practical for us to try at the mill."
