On the agenda this time is how to attract more direct bookings for your business...
As accommodation providers, many of you will use a portfolio of ways to attract visitors to your properties. This Accommodation Sector Meeting will focus on ways to increase the proportion of direct bookings and so reduce agency fees and increase income for your business.
It may be that this will be the first time that you'll be thinking of accepting bookings from outside of your agency deal - or you may already be taking some direct bookings but would like to increase these further. Either way, you'll be able to share your experiences, find out what works for others and explore new ways to increase your direct bookings.
The meeting will be led by Mary Ann Nossent, of Penygarn Cottage and one of Carmarthenshire Tourism Association's volunteer directors. The direction of discussions will be led by you, but as a starting point, we anticipate that some topics covered may include:
Our regular Sector Meetings are a chance to join others involved in running holiday accommodation businesses (self-catering and serviced) in Carmarthenshire to chat through the needs, challenges and opportunities relating to your business sector. This informal, interactive session will be sector specific making it highly relevant to your business needs, customers and objectives.
And of course there'll also the chance to chat to other businesses about any sector specific questions that you may have. If you ever think, "I wonder how other businesses do that..." then this is a chance to get answers!
Contact us to book your place by no later than 10am on Monday 27th November.
CTA's sector meetings are a key membership benefit - and are FREE for our members.
