Join others involved in running caravanning, camping and glamping sites in Carmarthenshire to informally meet and discuss issues relevant to, and affecting your particular sector.
Hot Topic - Site Licences: As well as sharing experiences and queries with other business owners on this topic, we have invited a representative from Carmarthenshire County Council to talk through the requirements and conditions of your holiday site licence, and answer any questions that you may have. We anticipate that topics covered may include:
Plus Other Topics: There will also be plenty of opportunity to discuss general issues affecting the Caravan, Camping & Glamping sector, and a chance to share and chat through your plans for the future. At this informal meeting, you are encouraged to share your experiences and ask questions of others working in your sector. If you ever think, "I wonder how other businesses do that..." then this is a chance to get answers!
Plus Site Visit to Award-Winning Park: You'll also have the chance for an optional site visit to Carmarthenshire Tourism Award Winning Erwlon Caravan & Camping Park to see new glamping developments - Riverside Pods, camping kitchen and their electrical infrastructure.
This meeting will be facilitated by two of CTA's voluntary directors and your sector representatives: Peter Rees, of Erwlon Caravan & Camping Park and Hywel Davies of Llwynifan Farm / South Wales Touring Park. Both are previous winners of the Caravan, Camping & Glamping category at the Carmarthenshire Tourism Awards - Erwlon are the current holders in 2018 / 2019 and Llwynifan Farm / South Wales Touring Park in 2015 /16. Llwynifan Farm / South Wales Touring Park have also just been crowned Best Caravan Site at the Welsh Hospitality Awards 2018.
